December has a way of filling calendars fast, but this year, we got to choose how ours filled. As the Retired Rahns, Don and I leaned into the season by saying yes to festive outings, small adventures, and moments that felt joyful rather than rushed. With no pressure to do it all, our Wander Years December became less about traditions we “should” keep and more about experiences we truly wanted, proving that sometimes the best holiday magic is the kind you create for yourself.
